We hired MIP after our last tenants left our single family home rental in Sherman Oaks. We decided that we needed help managing this property as well as securing new renters (which is not an easy ordeal). It has been a pleasure to work with Talia who was able to secure a 2 year lease. Our tenants are very happy as are we. She also helped us prepare the property to be back on the market as well, guiding us to the best choices for maintenance for the long term care of the property and tenant needs. Her many years of experience managing rental properties gives her the wisdom and experience needed to make the best decisions. We were not going to replace the dishwasher but she advised us to address a problem the old one was having because an undetected leak (the old one had issues with leaks) would be a very expensive repair later on... but she advised against a different upgrade we were considering, prior to hiring her, which would have been much more expensive but totally unnecessary (so she actually saved us money). She has a great network of companies that she uses for maintenance and repair and has been able to help manage costs associated with those elements as well as adeptly manage those vendors in our (and our tenants') best interests. It is also such a comfort knowing I don't have to worry about all the minor details of keeping up with the rental's day to day maintenance (like making sure gardener is keeping the creeping fig trimmed properly so it doesn't creep in to the attic/roofline) The property is being maintained and kept up with and the tenants are happy! We have even since referred MIP to friends who have hired her to manage their duplex rentals.
